Nepal Project
In October and November 2022, I travelled to the Himalayas. Before I left, I was working on a song called Decision about the Eastern Philosophy that celebrates the interdependence, intertwining and transcendence of the sexes. The experiences with the land, the people and customs and the harsh conditions was powerful and it helped me to write a number of songs upon my return. It's some good to come home to your guitar with stories that you want to tell it.
My journey in Nepal was made exceptional through a Canadian connection. Shauna is a well-seasoned trekker in Canada and Nepal and she set up the entire itinerary for my adventure, and set thee pace for this incredible trekking experience.
